PrayerBoard for churches
A prayer board for your church
An online prayer wall for your congregation. People submit prayer requests from one link, pray for each other with a few words or a voice recording and get an email each time someone prays for them, with no account needed. You decide what gets posted.
Free plan, no credit card. Pro is $20 a month.
What your members see
Your board is a web page with your church's name, photo and banner, and this week's prayer requests. Nobody has to download an app.
- Submit a request in a few sentences, with an optional title. No account needed.
- Choose how it's shared: public on the board, or Private so only the host sees it. Public requests can be anonymous, and private ones never show a name.
- Pray for others with one tap, a short written prayer or an audio prayer recorded right in the browser.
- Hear that someone prayed. Leave an email and get one each time someone prays. A private link shows how many people have prayed so far.
- Share the answer. Mark the request answered and add a testimony, written or recorded, for the church to celebrate.
What you control
- Require approval. New requests wait in a queue until a leader approves them.
- Moderate. Approve, hide, unhide or delete any request. Reported prayer notes collect in their own list.
- Guest prayers. Let visitors pray without an account, or ask them to sign in first.
- Names. Choose whether names show by default. People can still choose to be anonymous.
- Share anywhere. Copy your board's link or download a QR code for the bulletin, the slides or the welcome desk.
Submissions are rate-limited and screened for bots, and we never sell your church's data or show ads.

The difference that matters most: with PrayerBoard, the person who asked gets an email each time someone prays for them, and they don't need an account. A form collects requests but leaves them in a spreadsheet nobody else sees. A Facebook group is public in feel and depends on everyone being on Facebook. Church management software can do a lot, but prayer is usually a small corner of it. PrayerBoard does one thing, and it closes the loop: someone asked, someone prayed and the person who asked knows.
Three ways churches use it
A prayer time on Sunday
Put the QR code on the screen during the prayer time. People add requests from their seats, the prayer team prays through them after the service and each person gets an email as they're prayed for.
A prayer team all week
Approval stays on, a leader checks the queue each morning and the team sorts by “Needs Prayer” so no request goes unprayed. Private requests reach the pastor without being posted.
A season of prayer
For a 21-day fast, Advent or a church plant, share one board for the season. Answered prayers and testimonies become the stories you tell when it ends.
For small groups and families
Not every prayer belongs on a church-wide wall. For a small group, a ministry team or a family, the free PrayerBoard app gives you private circles where everyone knows each other. Questions people ask
Is PrayerBoard for churches free?
Yes. The free plan includes your prayer wall, prayer requests, text and audio prayers, email notifications and all the moderation tools. Pro is $20 a month with a 7-day free trial and adds weekly reflections, daily declarations and giving options.
Can people submit prayer requests anonymously?
Yes. Anyone posting a public request can tick Submit anonymously, and their name isn't shown. They can also mark a request Private, so only the board's host sees it, and a private request never shows a name.
Do members need an account or an app?
No app is needed: the prayer wall is a web page. People can submit a request without an account. You choose whether visitors can pray as guests or need to sign in first.
How do we stop spam or inappropriate posts?
Turn on Require approval and nothing appears until a leader approves it. Leaders can hide, unhide and delete requests, reported prayer notes go to a review list and submissions are rate-limited and screened for bots.
How do people know someone prayed for them?
If they leave an email when they submit, they get an email each time someone prays. They also get a private link to their request, where they can see how many people prayed and mark it answered.
Do members get notified of new requests?
Not yet. People hear from PrayerBoard when someone prays for their own request. To get the board in front of your church, share its link in your newsletter or group chats, or put the QR code on the Sunday slides.
What about small groups?
For a small group or a ministry team where everyone knows each other, the free PrayerBoard app (in beta on iPhone and Android) is often a better fit: private circles of up to 30 people, with a notification when someone prays.
