A prayer partner app for the two of you

PrayerBoard lets two prayer partners keep a private circle of just the two of them: share what's on your heart, pray for each other with a tap or a note, and get a daily reminder at a time you choose. A weekly check-in that asks "How can I pray for you this week?" is coming in an update.

Set up your prayer partnership

  1. Create a circle and invite your partner with a link or in Messages.
  2. Each of you shares one request for the week.
  3. Set a daily reminder so you both remember, with quiet hours for the evening.
  4. When one of you prays, the other gets a notification, so you both know you're not alone in it.

A simple weekly rhythm

  • Monday: ask each other "How can I pray for you this week?" and post the answer as a request.
  • During the week: pray when your reminder comes, and leave a short note when something comes to mind.
  • Friday or Sunday: add an update, or mark it answered and say what happened.

Who partners up

Friends who promised to keep each other in prayer, couples, a mentor and the person they're walking with, two moms from the same small group, or a parent and a child at college. A circle of two is quiet, honest and easy to keep going.

Is there an app for prayer partners?

Yes. In PrayerBoard you can make a circle with just you and your prayer partner, share requests, and see when the other person has prayed. It's free on iPhone and iPad.

Does PrayerBoard have weekly check-ins?

Not yet. A weekly "How can I pray for you this week?" check-in between partners is coming in an update. Until then, a simple Monday request in your circle does the same job.

Can couples use it to pray together?

Yes. A circle of two works well for couples, and you can each keep your own circles for family or friends too.
