Which one should you use?

When Echo Prayer is the better choice

  • Your group already uses Echo, and someone runs it with Echo+.

Is Echo Prayer free?

The Echo app is free, and its free plan lets you join groups and feeds. Creating and running groups needs Echo+, which Echo's website lists at $15 a year.

Is there a free alternative to Echo+ for prayer groups?

Yes. PrayerBoard lets anyone create a private prayer circle for free, with up to 30 people and no ads. PrayerMate also offers free small groups built around prayer lists.

Can I move my Echo prayer list to PrayerBoard?

There's no import, since the two apps work differently. Most people keep their personal list where it is and share the requests they want others to pray for in a circle.
