Prayer when you're overwhelmed

Lord, help. I'm overwhelmed. There's too much on my plate and not enough of me to go around.

I don't even know where to start this morning. Everything feels urgent.

Lead me to the rock that is higher than I am. Give me somewhere solid to stand while everything else shifts.

I pray for anyone who feels underwater today, students with deadlines, parents with sick kids, people starting a hard new job. Help them find one steady thing to hold on to.

Show me the one thing I need to do first, and give me peace about the rest.

I can't do everything today, but I can do the next thing with you. That will have to be enough. Amen.
