Prayer when you feel alone

Father in heaven, I feel a little lonely this morning, even with people around.

It's hard to explain. It's like no one quite sees what's going on inside me.

You promised you would never leave me or forsake me. I need that promise to be more than words today.

I pray for others who feel alone right now, the new kid, the widow, the person who just moved, the one scrolling at night because the house is too quiet. Send someone their way, and let it maybe be me.

Give me the courage to reach out first instead of waiting to be noticed.

Thank you that with you, I'm never actually alone. Help me feel that today. Amen.
