Praying for each other

Father, it means a lot that we don't have to do this alone. You made us to carry each other.

Thank you for the friends who pray for me, sometimes without me even knowing.

This morning I want to return the favor. I bring you the names on my heart, one by one. You know what each of them needs better than I do.

For the friend who asked for prayer and the one who would never ask, please meet them both today. Bring healing, bring comfort, bring a good surprise.

Make me honest enough to share what I'm carrying too, instead of always saying I'm fine.

Let our prayers for each other be real and steady, and let them make a difference. Amen.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
James 5:16 (ESV)

About this prayer

Pray it with your people

Every morning, PrayerBoard puts the day's prayer at the top of your Home screen and opens it in a teleprompter view that moves at a slow, prayerful pace. Some days come with a recording to pray along with. Then share what's on your heart with the few people who pray for you.
