For the kids
Father, I want to pray for the children in my life this morning, whether they're mine, my friends', or kids I see at church or down the street.
They are gifts, every single one, even on the loud days.
Protect them today. Give them good friends, kind teachers, and the confidence to be who you made them to be.
I pray for parents who are struggling, who feel like they're getting it all wrong. Give them patience and wisdom, and show them the good they're actually doing.
Help me be a safe, steady grown-up for any child who crosses my path.
And for the kids carrying more than any kid should, hold them extra close today. Amen.
Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.
