Just to praise you
God, this morning I don't want to ask for anything. I just want to tell you how good you are.
You've been faithful to me in so many ways, through the good years and the hard ones.
Your love has lasted every season of my life, and it will last through this one too.
I pray for my friends today, that they'd catch a glimpse of your goodness wherever they are. Open their eyes to small mercies, and let their hearts feel full.
Let my words today sound more like thanks than complaint.
Even if the day gets messy, I want it to start right here, with praise that's honest and glad. Amen.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
