Prayer for self-worth

Creator God, you made me, and you didn't make a mistake.

Some mornings I look in the mirror and see only what I'd change. Help me see what you see.

I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Let that sink into me today, past my head and into my heart.

I pray for friends who struggle with how they look or who they are, the teenager comparing herself online, the man who feels like a disappointment. Let them see themselves through your eyes.

Help me notice and name the good in other people today, out loud.

Thank you for making me on purpose, and for every other person I'll meet. Amen.
